Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using https://dinahraineylaw.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes how Dinah Rainey Law, LLC (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information obtained through the Site and related online interactions, including consultation requests, downloadable resources, newsletter subscriptions, and links to third-party client services.
By using the Site, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please discontinue using the Site. This policy does not replace any engagement agreement or other notice governing information collected in the course of legal representation. Questions may be directed to [email protected].
1. Definitions
“Site” means dinahraineylaw.com and its associated webpages, landing pages, and website forms. “Content” means articles, graphics, videos, downloadable guides, newsletters, and other materials made available through the Site. “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual, such as a name, email address, phone number, IP address, or information submitted through a form. “You” means a visitor or user of the Site.
2. Firm Statement
The Site and its Content are operated by Dinah Rainey Law, LLC, a Georgia law firm. We respect the privacy of website visitors, prospective clients, and clients and seek to collect and use information for legitimate business and legal-service purposes as described below. Submitting information through the Site does not, by itself, establish an attorney-client relationship.
3. What Personal Information Do We Collect?
Information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, business name, referral information, and information you submit when contacting the Firm, requesting a free consultation, completing a questionnaire, signing up for newsletters, or downloading a resource. If you become a client, additional information may be collected through separate intake, client-portal, billing, and matter-management systems.
Information may also be collected automatically when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser and device information, referring webpages, pages visited, and general usage information, depending on the cookies, analytics, and other technologies enabled on the Site. We do not intend for general website forms to be used to transmit highly sensitive information or confidential documents.
Payments, when offered, may be processed through a third-party payment provider. The Firm does not intend to collect complete payment-card details through ordinary website contact forms.
4. Correcting or Updating Information
If information you provided through the Site is inaccurate or incomplete, please contact [email protected] to request a correction. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by applicable law, professional obligations, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.
5. When Do We Collect Information?
We may collect information when you browse the Site, submit an inquiry or consultation request, complete a form, subscribe to emails, request a downloadable guide, or otherwise communicate with us. You generally may browse public Site pages without identifying yourself, although some technical information may be collected automatically.
Requesting a guide or contacting the Firm does not necessarily mean you have subscribed to ongoing marketing emails. Where we offer email subscriptions, we will use the sign-up language and consent process presented at the point of collection. Marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe.
6. How Do We Use Information?
We may use information to respond to inquiries; arrange consultations; perform preliminary conflict screening; provide requested resources; administer intake and client communications; deliver newsletters and other communications where appropriate; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; process transactions through service providers; comply with legal and professional obligations; and maintain business records.
We may also analyze aggregate website activity to understand which information is useful to visitors. We will not use information submitted in a confidential legal representation in ways inconsistent with our professional obligations.
7. Do We Share Information?
We do not sell website visitors’ Personal Information in exchange for money. We may disclose information to service providers who help operate our business, including website hosting and maintenance providers, Brevo for email marketing and resource delivery, Clio for scheduling, intake, client management, portal access, and payment-related workflows, and other providers used for communications, security, and administration. Such providers may process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
We may also disclose information when legally required or permitted, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate business transition, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations. We do not treat information obtained through attorney-client representation as ordinary marketing data.
If advertising pixels, remarketing services, or third-party behavioral tracking are later enabled, the Firm will review and update this Policy and any required consent or opt-out mechanisms before using them. Links and embedded features from social media or other third parties may permit those providers to collect information under their own policies.

The Site and its providers may use strictly necessary cookies and, if enabled, analytics or other optional cookies. Some email communications may use standard delivery and engagement technologies.
You may control or delete many cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. The specific categories of cookies, analytics products, social media pixels, and consent controls used on the Site should be identified in the Firm’s Cookie Policy and in any cookie preference tool provided on the Site. We do not state that advertising pixels or Google Analytics are in use unless confirmed.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may link to websites, social media platforms, scheduling pages, payment systems, or the client portal operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. 13. Analytics and Advertising Services
The Firm may use website analytics to understand site traffic and improve visitor experience. We will identify specific analytics and advertising technologies in the Cookie Policy or other applicable notice when their use is confirmed. We do not represent that Google Ads, Google Analytics, demographic reporting, or social media advertising pixels are currently installed without verification.
14. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, applicable privacy laws may provide rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain Personal Information, or to opt out of specified uses or disclosures. These rights are subject to legal exceptions and may not apply to every individual or every category of information.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law. The Firm may retain records where required by law, ethical duties, dispute-resolution needs, or other permitted purposes.
15. Children’s Privacy
Our website and legal services are intended primarily for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If you are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian contact us on your behalf regarding potential legal services. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without the required parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information, subject to applicable legal obligations. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our website, please contact us at [email protected].
16. Data Security Incidents
If we learn of a security incident involving Personal Information, we will investigate and provide any notifications required by applicable law. 17. Commercial Email and Unsubscribing
We may send educational newsletters, announcements, and marketing messages to people who have subscribed or where otherwise permitted by law. We aim to comply with applicable commercial email laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, by using accurate sender information, identifying commercial communications as required, including a valid mailing address where required, and providing an effective unsubscribe method.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not necessarily stop nonmarketing communications concerning a consultation, existing client matter, transaction, or legal obligation.

If you access the Site from another country, information you provide may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
